Company Empatio OÜ offers steel construction’s corrosion protection using the most modern equipment and knowledge. Cleaning process is done in closed grit chamber, which is 6 x 6 x 15 m large, using G40 chipped shot. It gives the best cleaning degree and surface profile according to the project. Usual steel preparation is Sa 2,5 or 3 according to ISO 8501-1:2007 standard. Surface profile after grit blasting is evaluated according to ISO 8503-2.
We use different protective coating suppliers to match the best for each project. We are in close cooperation with major paint manufacturers: International, Jotun, Hempel, Teknos, Tikkurila, Carboline.
Dry film thickness acceptance criteria is best described in ISO 2808.
We have two cranes with each 5t lifting capacity, 3t forklift and 900m2 of painting area. The area is always warm, which gives the best quality and drying times of the paint.
